I literally spent 2 1/2 hours last night trying to decide on a new Facebook timeline cover with the imminent forced implementation of Facebook timelines.
There are tonnes of images and places you get them from like http://coverphotofinder.com for example. The problem is there are too many options. Some very funny ones and some that are pretty dam rude to be honest lol.
I wish I’d of found this blog post by CopyBlogger before I procrastinated for so many hours
On March 30, 2012 (yes, that’s tomorrow today), all Facebook Pages will be converted to the timeline layout with the cover photo.
If you don’t specify a cover image by March 30, presumably the top of your page will have a blank space where the cover should be.
So if you haven’t pulled it together yet, here’s a last-minute guide for you.
This how-to guide is designed to help Facebook Pages create a cover image that looks professional and markets your brand’s best assets — without violating the new Facebook Pages Terms.
After going through all the different designs, I ended up just using an image I took on holiday in Turkey last year of a beautiful sunset and adding one of my favourite Zig Ziglar’s quotes to it.
